Hi Guys!
I'm Pixie.
I am a sweet girl who loves to run and play. I walk a little bow legged because there's something behind me that hits my legs all the time. My shelter parents tell people that my tail is broken. It wiggles and flops around, it's weird because it's attached but I don't feel it. I heard them say that when I go get spayed they are going to take that silly tail off so it won't bug me anymore. They said it's going to be expensive though, whatever that means. So they are starting a fund for me. My shelter mom has made some greeting cards to sell. They feature cats and dogs from the shelter. They are great for all occasions. Maybe you guys could let your friends know?
Well, I gotta go play. Bye!
Love Pixie

Featured Pet
Hi, my name is Robin.
I am a pretty grey tabby with green eyes.
My shelter parents joke that I could be in the opera because of my unique meow. I think that would be fun!
I really love to look out the window. It is one of my favorite things to do.
I like the outside. Sometimes I try to sneak out. Luckily I am fully vaccinated and spayed.
I lived outside as a stray before coming to the shelter on November 4, 2009. I really miss having a home and family to call my own.
Some days at the shelter I feel sad. I sit with my back to the world until someone sticks there fingers in and pets my back.
Then I turn and look at them and feel happy. Maybe they have come to take me home?
If you or someone you know would be interested in meeting Robin please call or visit the shelter.
Robin is currently in our Summer Sale and will be adopted out for a reduced fee of $65.00
Robin's fee includes:
Vet Check,
Feline Leukemia Test,
De Flea,
De Worm,
Distemper Vaccine and Booster
Leukemia Vaccine and Booster
Spay,
Free Vet Check at participating clinics
and 6 Week Free Trial of PetSecure

Foster Parent's Needed!
Every spring the Colchester SPCA is bursting with nursing mom's
and kittens of every age, size and color.
Unfortunately we get in more mom's and kittens then we
have Foster Homes. This results in kittens not getting as much
socialization and play time as their Shelter Parents (staff) would like.
So we are currently on the lookout for new Foster Homes.
Would you be willing to Foster kittens in your home?
All you need to do is speak to the Shelter Parents(staff) at 408
Industrial Ave. and fill out a Foster Form.
Once approved we provide you with the necessary
items such as litter, food and toys. You provide the love.
You'd need to be able to commit enough time till the kittens are eight
weeks old, then they can go to the shelter to find their forever homes.
For more information visit the shelter Tuesday to Saturday 11-3
or phone 893-7968
